Welcome To My Research Blog

My name is Stephanie Eubank, and I am a Doctorate student at Concordia University working on my DBA degree with the emphasis in Remote Teams. My husband and I refer to ourselves as “”The Bear Family”. Which has earned me the nick name within my house hold as “Momma Bear” and, “Dr. Bear”.

My previous name was Stephanie Gast- Wilson and for the past ten years I have continued to work in the Mortgage Condo Compliance Underwriting sector of the real estate industry.

After working for the past seven years remotely while working on my educational goals I noticed push back about remote work. Now with the changes remote teams have become more important than ever. I believe my research is the key to remote work being more fully understood, and creating a new opening to allow work/ life balance for those who are care givers (mothers, partners caring for disabled partners, people caring for aging parents), allow for more diversity, and prevent total economic collapse during national and global emergencies.

This blog is for me to write on the topics and process in which I study and work towards completing my doctorate thesis. I hope that this blog will for one share what I learn in this process. And secondly help share information on remote work. Embrace the remote workplace it is here to stay.
